Jennifer Borgioli Binis is a freelance developmental editor, researcher, and fact-checker for education authors and education-adjacent creators. Prior to supporting those who write about schools, she spent almost two decades as a professional development provider, helping administrators and teachers across the country solve curriculum and assessment-related challenges. Her work as a professional developer also included supporting statewide projects and district-level audits and inventories. In 2022, she co-authored The Cardboard Classroom: A Design-Thinking Guide for Elementary Teachers with Doug Robertson. She's written about the intersection of gender and education history for Nursing Clio and is a moderator and commentator on Reddit's AskHistorians, where she answers questions about American education history. When working on clients' manuscripts, she is carefully supervised by two perfectly chonky cats, Steve! and Kevin, and surrounded by the words of many, many brilliant educators who help her fulfill her destiny as a bibliophile.
